Dr. Nitin Thapa, ND
My focus is on all aspects of pediatric care, from birth to young adult as well as care for acute and chronic conditions in adults.
Dr. Thapa is a native of Nepal and a graduate of the Tver State Medical Academy, Russia- Europe’s oldest and prestigious medical academy, where he received specialty clinical training in family medicine. As an MD, he practiced internal medicine at Bir Hospital and Kanti Children's Hospital, Kathmandu Nepal.
In pursuit of his interest in integrative medicine, Dr. Thapa additionally trained and graduated from Bastyr University in 2017 with a degree of Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. He finished his residency in Pediatric focused Naturopathic Family Medicine in 2020 and Adjunctive Oncology training in 2021.
Dr. Thapa effectively combines integrative therapies in collaboration with medical specialty care, keeping the patient as strong and healthy as possible, guiding patients to avoid self-treatments that can interfere with medical specialty care, and adding value with prevention and other long-term strategies.
He is focused on treating the whole person, listening carefully and communicating effectively, including answering patient questions completely and coordinating seamlessly with other providers providing care for the patient.
When he is not providing patient care, he enjoys hiking, nature photography, country music and supporting community health & wellness programs.
